E. M. Swift-Hook is a talented and prolific scifi / alternative history writer. Just take a look at her 30 works listed on Goodreads over the last few years. Seriously, her keyboard must be smoking when she writes!!
She is also a very generous supporter of the indie writing scene providing mentoring and advice to many of us. I am thrilled to feature E. M. Swift-Hook as my latest star author. Here are two examples of her twisted flash fiction.

Valeria Dalca held up the vial. “And this holds immortality?”
Cahaya shook her head. “Not immortality. You can still die from illness or accident. It just reverses and prevents the degeneration of natural ageing.”
Dalca made a dismissive gesture. “Immortality in effect. But is humanity ready for it?”
“Of course. It’ll make people value life more as it is no longer ephemeral. It will make them consider how they treat the planet as they themselves, not their descendants, will be living with the consequences.”
Dalca smiled and put down the vial. “You really don’t understand people very well do you?”

Rescued from a dying world, the oddly appealing humans couldn’t shape reality mentally, lacked telepathy, and had an irrational urge to over-procreate. Some myora even considered humans to be sapient. Those who watched now didn’t care. They were here for entertainment.
The signal came and the culling began, with the smallest humans screaming as they were caught
And since the population had to be kept in check, why not have some fun doing so?
